Dr. Steve Schwam
Dr. Schwam graduated from the University
of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1974. Following
his graduation, he opened a dental practice in San Jose,
California, before moving to Oregon in the late 1980s.
Dr. Schwam worked in Roseburg for nine years before
starting his practice in Coquille.
Advanced Skills
Dr. Schwam has attended over 350 hours of continuing
education at the prestigious Las
Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies associated
with Baylor University. His goal is to pursue 150 or
more educational hours each year to continue updating
his skills in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and
to provide only the best for his patients.
He is a member of the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the
Academy of Laser Dentistry and
American
Academy of Implant Dentistry, Member of Invisalign (invisible orthodontic).
Dr. Schwam also meets regularly in doctor study
groups to review and learn the latest techniques in
neuromuscular and implant dentistry.
